Find a spongebob site. Right click on pictures, and "save picture as". Then open Microsoft word, create a card, and insert the pictures you saved.

You can probably also just select the pictures, then copy and paste.

last year I made some black cards with silver snowflakes on them, very pretty.

I made a snowflake template by finding a snowflake I liked on the fonts on the computer and printing it out as large as I could

then enlarged it on the scanner to the size I wanted printed it out again

and then put this over a piece of thin cardboard and drew around the edge of the image hard to leave an indent on the card underneath

then cut it out with craft knife

and then just used this as a stencil

and sprayed silver paint through it onto the card sized folded black card.

Man that was a mouthful, hope it makes sense!!
Reply:I don't know if they make a computer version but Mahogany are very nice cards. They usually have a variety of occassions and some generic some you can make them for whatever you want.

If you are looking for decent templates to get you started plus instructions on personalizing the template wording in a short time, plus instructions on using any clipart that may truly make the invites your own design and wording all easily done from your pc and printer then try the link below.

You will just need to decide on the paper quality you want. If you want to go for printer paper then that would be just fine. Might be worth thinking about upgrading to colored paper or even cardstock for a higher quality feel. You should be able to get these at any local craft store. You will need to score the cardstock to fold it!

Details you need to know to answer my question:

•I have Win Vista Ultimate intalled instead of the original "Windows XP Media Center".

•My monitor is an Acer AL2216Wbd 22" LCD with a recommended resolution of 1680x1050.

The reason i wan a new video card is because when i play games like "Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Stronghold legends, fifa 08, Prince of Persia, i have problems with the graphics and sometime it is very slow and the graphics don't keep up, that's why i think i need a better video card than the one my computer came with. when i use the Media Center in Windows Vista Ultimate it's very slow. Is the size of my monitor the reason why everything is slow now or is Vista the problem? New Vid Card or go back to XP

Which video card is best for my computer?
Not knowing the "minimum requirements" for the games you mentioned, here are my two thoughts.

1G of RAM with Vista is not a great situation at all. I'd recommend that you get at least 1G more for a minimum of 2G of RAM. RAM is pretty cheap right now so you could even pick up an additional 2G for about $100 or less.

Video: you currently have 128M video card. With Vista and your games, it pretty much overloaded. Do some shopping online and you should be able to find a video card with 512M of RAM for under $100.

Those two upgrades would do wonders for you.

Vista vs XP: I own a copy of Vista Home Premium. I tried it. Didn't like it. I went back to XP after a month of trying it.

Vista is mostly eye candy and basically doesn't do much more than XP does. It is also VERY processor intensive. So your PentiumD 2.8GHz is going to work pretty hard trying to run Vista and an intense game at the same time.

Those are my thoughts. Hope this helps.
Reply:Your computer is rather old for running Vista. I really think you should go back to XP, because your memory and cpu will hold you back.

The good thing is that you can just add another 1gb of memory to speed things up. Your grafix card can take pci-e which is good also.

Your system doesn't tell me how much power you have. As such, I would suggest getting an older 7900GS or 1950pro. Those are very fast cards and will have no problem with the games you listed.
Reply:It dossent stand what kind of PCI E slot you have. If you have x16, you can take all "x16 Pci e". If you dont have any PCI E x16 ( x4 or x1 ) then you just can take almost bad cards.

and yet mine won't!? I plug it into the usb port onboard and it says "Do you realise that this device can run much faster from a usb 2.0 port?" so I swap it across to the usb 2.0 hub and it's "device not recognisable"

Any hints anyone?

Can't get a Canon MP760 All-in-One Printer to run from a USB 2.0 port?
The printer will work with USB1.1. Ignore the 'device can run much faster from a usb 2.0..... ' message.

However, do not use the USB hub, connect it directly to the USB port on the pc.

Reply:If you have Vista then the USB 2 stuff below won't apply, but it may mean your motherboard doesn't support USB 2.0. (Assuming this is not a computer that came with Vista.)

If the hub is connected to another onboard port (rather then a USB 2.0 addon card) then it sounds like one of your potential problems is that you either don't have USB 2.0 support, or don't have it enabled. USB 2.0 requires XP SP1 or better, and hardware that supports USB 2.0. (Plugging a 2.0 hub into a 1.1 port won't give you 2.0 support.)

If your motherboard does have USB 2.0 support, and the computer has/originally had regular Windows XP, (not SP1 or SP2) then maybe the USB 2.0 driver never got installed. Check device manager for an unknown device or for an Enhanced USB controller.

And as mentioned, the drivers for the printer should be installed before you plug the printer in, otherwise it might cause issues installing the driver later. (If all else fails, if you see any yellow question mark devices in device manager, you can try removing them and rebooting to let Windows try and reinstall their drivers.)
Reply:Did you install the printer drivers yet?? If you have Windows Vista, it already has the drivers, you just have to go to the printers folder and manually add the printer. If you have an older OS, it may not have the drivers, so you can download them from here:

I am 20 years old--my boyfriend and I live in New York and we both work, but we don't make that much money. I work at a hair salon making a set pay a week plus tips, he works and gets paid by the hour. Our income is always changing.

I would really like to work out a budget that tracks how much money we get and how much we spend, in hopes that we can save up and move into another apartment.

Money would have to be saved as we both have really bad credit from when we first started living on our own, this is my fault not his, :) I am younger and totally ruined my credit cards.

Does anyone know good free programs to do this? Printable worksheets?

I've found some online, but not as many as I thought I would.

Have you ever heard of identity theft?

There is no Overseas Lottery International, YAHOO %26amp; MSN Lotteries, Yahoo online dept., UK (United Kingdom) Lottery, Netherlands Lottery, British Lottery, Thunderball Online Lottery in the UK, Australian Lottery, Spanish Lottery, Yahoo Lottery Microsoft Lottery (emmulating from the UK or anywhere else) or any other form of lottery you can win without buying a ticket. While some people might only copy and paste such email to their answer with a brief take on it, I will go into detail because I'm tired of this trash, as several of my friends have lost their a$$es to this scam. This is about as far away from legitimate as anything can get, whether it be a contest, promotion, or whatever.

There exists a certain form of immoral degenerate that trolls the internet searching for suckers who believe that they have gotten very lucky and won a lottery which they have never entered. They will probably entice you to send an advance fee to claim your non-existant winnings and if you do send this money, you can kiss it goodbye. The money will likely be en-route to Nigeria, a cesspool of fraud that has been the center of these types of fraud over the last few decades.

The best thing to do is to delete such emails immediately and to never reply to them. If you even reply, you risk having your email inbox flooded. If you call these people, expect to be harrassed over the phone at all hours of the night! In some cases, people who travel to claim their winnings in Nigeria are taken hostage, and in worse-case scenarios are killed when whoever is paying ransom payments exhausts their money supply. If anything online sounds to good to be true it always is buddy.

By the way, I have kind of become an anti-scam activists due to the fact that I have many friends who have had their identities and life savings stolen from them via these methods.

This is simply advance fee fraud (a prevalent type of fraud which continously asks for money to cover unforseen expenses) and is intended to drain your bank account, promising money that simply does not exist. Hopefully, this answers your question.

I need more info on TAROT TRANSLATIONS (mostly for reversals)?
now that the amen chorus has finished - let's get down to work. First, I strongly recommend spending time with each card without the advantage of ANY interpretive information. Since you're already experienced that's not possible, but it is possible to reconsider what the symbolism means to YOU personally (IMO this is the way to get the best readings and remember all the symbolism).

Second, some readers choose to read the reversal the same as upright - personal choice. My feeling is that it's limiting the system too much. Rather, I see reversed as either a lessening of the effect of a card, or an opposite meaning. I remember one day my sister got all reversed cards and worried herself silly. My response was to tell her to go sit on the other side of the table (she was looking at the situation the wrong way LOL).

Third, consider if you like rider-waite or find another artistic rendering more moving and inspiring. Tarot depends heavily on visual impact for both the reader and the querent. don't be afraid to go looking for a deck that really speaks to you.

I do recomend the Everything Tarot book, which is quite good. I believe Amazon has it on sale presently and you might find it useful to your goals.

I saw an idea for an escort card where the there was a votice candle holder for each person, and which table they were at.

My question is, is there some sort of "at home" method to print the guests names and apply it to glass with it looking professional? Because the set up costs for every person can get expensive. But if there's a printable material that you can use as a tranfer on glass, I would like to go that route.

Reply:How many guests? If it's a reasonable number (and you have at least semi-decent handwriting, of course) I'd suggest getting a paint pen or two and writing it yourself. Have a friend or two over and make an evening of it. It could be quite fun.

Otherwise, can you tie a cardstock card (prettily cut out after printing) to the candleholder with a pretty ribbon?

Something's niggling at the back of my brain about printing the sheets of regular paper on your home printer and then taking them to a commercial copy place and havng them copy these sheets you've printed onto clear sticky-backed plastic. I've heard of this, but don't know much about it. You may want to check into that option. Phone your local copy shop when they open tomorrow, and ask if they do this.

From the specs you provided a PCI-E video card wouldn't be usable on the system, it only has PCI slots. You should be OK with a PCI video card or an AGP 4x video card which you don't mention but the specs say it has an AGP 4x slot.

Though the power supply is small, 200 Watts, it shouldn't need to be upgraged for a PCI or AGP 4x card, though I'd reccomend looking for one that doesn't need active cooling (a fan) to minimize power consumption. Should you decide to upgrade the power suppy anyway a 300-350 Watt unit should be more then sufficient.
Reply:You should check the power consumption written on each of the major hardware items. Add them up as a rough guide of how much power supply you will need.
Reply:PCI video cards are compatible with PCI-e slots...not hte other way around. However, your computer seems to have a AGP slot..and so your video card will likely be using that, not the PCI slot (if it is a high performance card).

As for the Power Supply, consider a 250w supply at least. This should be adequate for all kinds of things.

Reply:For Yugioh you can use the Beckett Yugioh magazine. In there should be every card ever listed in a set. They have price guides in there. As far as the other types of cards, you should see if they have magazines for those as well. I think Beckett makes one for pokemon too, i'm not sure. Hope this helps.

It's gonna take you forever to enter in all that stuff. I tried and I quit because when your looking at the rosters on line you can't just enter in the name by the number because normaly it will be wrong.you have to match the numbers up then make sure its the right person by matching the stats and information. Just go buy you anonther memor card to send off, thats way easier than trying to enter them yourself.

Reply:I don't know about flashcards, but there are quite a few sites with vocab and tutorials. Here's some that I know of:

There's another site called Quia we used this in my spanish 2001 class but you need the book and a (purchased) passcode for the excercises.

One thing I recomend is trying to translate things for yourself also-to practice. Get a movie you watch a lot and get the subtitles in spanish, to help you learn and get used to hearing it.

Try reading children's books in spanish where the vocab's not too hard, but you can pick up on what's going on based on context.

I'm only 8 weeks pregnant. I'm so tired and sick a lot. The house is messier than usual. I'm not working at the moment. I spend most of my time on here when BF isn't not home because it doesn't require any energy.

My boyfriend is so supportive of my new-found unproductivity (he's has a 6 y/o son so he's been through it before). I felt like crap this morning, and layed in bed for 3 hours after I woke up. He told me to take it easy today, "if you do too much it'll only make it worse." He'll do laundry and dishes behind my back. It makes me feel so guilty, but I so much appreciate it.

I don't believe any of my ex's would have treated me this good. I want to show him how much I appreciate him for his support.

We're kind of poor right now, so I can't go out and buy him anything. He'd appreciate something more creative much more anyways. I've tried to find some online printable greeting cards that I can personalize, but no luck.

Any suggestions?

Reply:Well, I have been there and back again. All you can do is try to explain that your current personality really isn't your true personality. With my daughter I raged at the world to the point that I made a cashier in a grocery store cry and I thought that I was justified in doing so. With my son I cried until he was 4 months old. It all goes back to normal once your baby is born and your hormones settle down and you get some sleep. Good luck, a lot of us have felt the same way and don't diminish what your mind and body are being put through right now and if it means complaining and or crying go ahead, you can't control it any way. Good luck with your new family addition. The key is that he has been there before and understands what can happen. The best gift I ever received in my life was a letter telling me how much I was appreciated and wanted in someone elses life.

Congrats on the baby. With my first baby I was sick until I was 8 months pregnant, had carpal tunnel up to both elbows, and got horrible ingrown toenails (they had to cut half my toe nail off!). Needless to say....I had crabby moments.

Business Card Paper Type?

ok so i purchased Avery White Two-sided printable Business cards to be able to print on. I have a hp c5280 inkjet printer, i have just recently noticed that the business card paper says laser on it, will this matter if im using an ink jet printer, i looked where i bought them from and didnt see any paper of the same exact kind that said inkjet, unfortunately they will not return it because it is opened but i am curious if it will still be ok to print on them with?? thanks

It will be okay to print, however, you will run the risk of the ink running if it gets wet or is not allowed enough time to dry then it will smear

I have heard of online approvals that will automatically give you a credit card number that you can use online for purchases. But, a printable card seems like a scam. If I were a retailer I would not accept a printed version of a credit card. I would be very cautious if you are interested in that. Most credit card companies issue immidiate approvals and the card is send within a few days and if you need the card immidiately, I'm sure they can overnight it to you. Call the creditor and ask before you print something out to use.

Is there a way to recieve those $100 or more free gift cards without going through all of those yes and no questionaires and giving up your information to get it. I did one and made it to the end and it took me about 2hrs to do it. At the end they give you a printable gift card to redeem at the store that it is for. So they are real, I just wanted to know a faster way of getting them.

google image MCR album covers and copy and paste it into a word document, turn it sideways, print it out, and fold it like a card. Or copy it into microsoft paint and change it however you want (give them mustaches, write your names, or whatever).

NEW YORK - On Sept. 11, Jacob Sundberg of San Antonio has pledged to make eye contact and smile at everyone he meets. Kaitlin Ulrich will bring goody baskets to the police and fire departments in and around Philadelphia. And 100 volunteers from New York – 9/11 firefighters and family members among them – are going to Groesbeck, Texas, to rebuild a house destroyed by a tornado last December.

This is a minute sampling of the hundreds of thousands of people who have pledged to memorialize those killed on 9/11 by doing something good for others.

The heroic acts of all those killed trying to save others that September morning has spawned a growing grass-roots movement. The goal is to ensure that future generations remember not just the horror of the attacks, but also the extraordinary outpouring of humanity during the days, weeks, and months that followed.

"It was the worst possible day imaginable, and in some ways, a remarkable day, too, in the way in which people responded," says David Paine, cofounder of myGoodDeed.org. "We need to rekindle the way we came together in the spirit of 9/11: It would be almost as much a tragedy to lose that lesson."

Sept. 11 has inspired dozens of philanthropic efforts – from groups dedicated to building memorials to foundations designed to improve education in the Middle East. But myGoodDeed has a more universal goal: to turn 9/11 into a day dedicated to doing good – from small, simple things like Lisa Scheive's pledge to help stranded turtles cross the road in Pompano Beach, Fla., to lifesaving efforts, such as John Feal's decision in New York to donate one of his kidneys to help a seriously ill 9/11 worker.

The idea has been endorsed by members of Congress, and at myGoodDeed's urging, President Bush for the first time this year included a call for volunteering in his annual 9/11 proclamation.

After major disasters, Americans have historically tapped a deep reserve of compassion and reached out to others. But in the months and years that follow, those compassionate and civic urges tend to recede. Studies at Harvard's Saguaro Seminar on Civic Engagement in America found that in as few as five months after 9/11, most Americans had gone back to their daily lives and were not more engaged as they said they'd hoped to be. Part of the goal of turning 9/11 into a national day of service is to remind Americans of the inherent joy of giving and to hopefully spur volunteering and charitable acts throughout the year.

"I don't know of any research that's been done on one day of service, but studies have shown that people who do volunteering in high school are more likely to volunteer throughout their lives," says Thomas Sander, executive director of the Saguaro Seminar.

The idea of turning 9/11 into a day of service, charity, and good deeds came from the family and friends of one man: Glenn Winuk, a volunteer fireman and lawyer who worked a block and a half from the World Trade Center. After he helped evacuate his Broadway law offices, he grabbed a medic's bag and ran toward the smoke pouring from the South Tower. That's where his remains were found after the towers fell. Mr. Paine and Glenn's brother Jay had been friends for years. They decided that turning 9/11 into a day of service was best way to memorialize Glenn.

"It completely reflects the way my brother lived his life, and it also specifically reflects how he died," says Mr. Winuk, myGoodDeed.org cofounder. "He laid his life on the line for other people that day."

In 2002, Paine and Winuk sent e-mails to friends and family and suggested they do a good deed, such as donate a day's pay on 9/11. Then the idea evolved, and they founded myGoodDeed.org. In 2004, 100,000 visited their website and pledged to do a good deed on 9/11. This year, those pledging number more than 250,000.

"A lot of people don't know what to do on 9/11," says Paine. "This hits people in their heart and their soul. It connects with something that's fundamental."

I have bought international tickets through the airlines before and have always gotten a printable itinerary. It basically has all the flight information, which includes the type of plane, what time it lands, length of flight, when the next one takes off and sometimes even the seat number. If it doesn't have the seat number, don't worry, you will get one assigned to you when you check in.

You may have to check in again along the way if you change airlines along your travel. Ask if you need to pick up your luggage and recheck them with the other carrier or if the airlines will handle that.

Call the airlines about 72 hours in advance of your trip to reconfirm your tickets.

Ok, so I am planning a sweet 16 for my brother, and we are going to be camping the time I do it. What do you think about this?? 18 people are going to be there. (yes, they are all close family). For A present, i found an awesome site where there are free printable cards, and i am going to print 40 of them, and put a dollar in each one. anyways, the theme is carnival, and i need ideas for that. remember, we are going to be camping, and he noooo idea this is happening. food, toys, games, presents, activities, i just want this to be over the top. if you give me a long list, i will give you 10pts. even if i dont like them. mmk im 12 but really mature, and im getting help from my 15 year old cousin, and we have a pretty tight budget, and we are going camping so remember that! its not like i cant rent a snowcone machine or anythng because i dont have room for that. One that is for people who are not in collage but is only 19 going on 20. Also if possible one with no fee's (start up fee or anything like that I can handle a late fee). Also I would reather have a charge card and not a credit card.

Also if possible one you get in seconds online instent approval that they give you an temp printable card once approved.

A charge card IS a credit card. Also, even if you can afford to pay late charges, don't pay late. Ever. The earlier the better when building your credit history so be careful and the best thing to do with any card is use it no more than you can pay off every month.

I have never applied for a CC online, so can't tell you if they have temp cards. They may. I know it's much easier for teens/young adults to obtain a credit card nowadays, so good luck and respect your credit! It may seem like no big deal now but you'll be glad in the future.
