Reply:There are several ways you can achieve this, but I would go as follows:
There are several applications that will allow, and already have "greeting card" templates. For example both Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word have built in features as such.
Alternatively, you can use your word processor, or simply "Paint" from your Accessories list (if you are running a flavor of Windows), do design such card.
Use an image database like images.google.com, to find appropriate pictures for your collage and paste them into your card. Make sure the "canvas" or the area of the image is set to the size of paper that you will be using (A4 or letter most likely), and you draw/paste as landscape (longer side horizontal).
You will need to develop four areas. Front, left inside, right inside, and back of card. This is way simpler then quad folding a card - which is what software template based systems do.
This allows you to fold the paper in half, creating the card. If you do not have a "duplex" printer (that can print on both side automagically), you can always flip the page and manually feed it for the other side.
You can add additional touches by using heavy lip stick kisses, sprinkles, ribbons, etc... the possibilities are endless.
