I am looking for a new printer that can broadcast a wireless signal so it doesn't have to be hardwired to a computer to print. All i want to have to do is search for it on my wireless card or bluetooth (i have bluetooth), click on it and have it print. Which video card is best for my computer?

Details you need to know to answer my question:
•I have Win Vista Ultimate intalled instead of the original "Windows XP Media Center".
•My monitor is an Acer AL2216Wbd 22" LCD with a recommended resolution of 1680x1050.
The reason i wan a new video card is because when i play games like "Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Stronghold legends, fifa 08, Prince of Persia, i have problems with the graphics and sometime it is very slow and the graphics don't keep up, that's why i think i need a better video card than the one my computer came with. when i use the Media Center in Windows Vista Ultimate it's very slow. Is the size of my monitor the reason why everything is slow now or is Vista the problem? New Vid Card or go back to XP

Not knowing the "minimum requirements" for the games you mentioned, here are my two thoughts.
1G of RAM with Vista is not a great situation at all. I'd recommend that you get at least 1G more for a minimum of 2G of RAM. RAM is pretty cheap right now so you could even pick up an additional 2G for about $100 or less.
Video: you currently have 128M video card. With Vista and your games, it pretty much overloaded. Do some shopping online and you should be able to find a video card with 512M of RAM for under $100.
Those two upgrades would do wonders for you.
Vista vs XP: I own a copy of Vista Home Premium. I tried it. Didn't like it. I went back to XP after a month of trying it.
Vista is mostly eye candy and basically doesn't do much more than XP does. It is also VERY processor intensive. So your PentiumD 2.8GHz is going to work pretty hard trying to run Vista and an intense game at the same time.
Those are my thoughts. Hope this helps.

The printer will work with USB1.1. Ignore the 'device can run much faster from a usb 2.0..... ' message.
However, do not use the USB hub, connect it directly to the USB port on the pc.
Reply:Sorry. It was Canon's support page for the MP760. Just a confirmation that it works with USB 1.1 as well.

If the hub is connected to another onboard port (rather then a USB 2.0 addon card) then it sounds like one of your potential problems is that you either don't have USB 2.0 support, or don't have it enabled. USB 2.0 requires XP SP1 or better, and hardware that supports USB 2.0. (Plugging a 2.0 hub into a 1.1 port won't give you 2.0 support.)
If your motherboard does have USB 2.0 support, and the computer has/originally had regular Windows XP, (not SP1 or SP2) then maybe the USB 2.0 driver never got installed. Check device manager for an unknown device or for an Enhanced USB controller.
And as mentioned, the drivers for the printer should be installed before you plug the printer in, otherwise it might cause issues installing the driver later. (If all else fails, if you see any yellow question mark devices in device manager, you can try removing them and rebooting to let Windows try and reinstall their drivers.)

WHERE do I locate ?
FREE ...PRINTABLE...phonics flashcards. I have spent hours searching for them. Most online want a make a buck!!
I do not need a picture on them...just the black and white version will suffice, also if possible the FULL phonetic cards...IE: blended sounds (vowels, consonants)

I need help planning a budget.?
I am 20 years old--my boyfriend and I live in New York and we both work, but we don't make that much money. I work at a hair salon making a set pay a week plus tips, he works and gets paid by the hour. Our income is always changing.
I would really like to work out a budget that tracks how much money we get and how much we spend, in hopes that we can save up and move into another apartment.
Money would have to be saved as we both have really bad credit from when we first started living on our own, this is my fault not his, :) I am younger and totally ruined my credit cards.
Does anyone know good free programs to do this? Printable worksheets?
I've found some online, but not as many as I thought I would.

There is no Overseas Lottery International, YAHOO %26amp; MSN Lotteries, Yahoo online dept., UK (United Kingdom) Lottery, Netherlands Lottery, British Lottery, Thunderball Online Lottery in the UK, Australian Lottery, Spanish Lottery, Yahoo Lottery Microsoft Lottery (emmulating from the UK or anywhere else) or any other form of lottery you can win without buying a ticket. While some people might only copy and paste such email to their answer with a brief take on it, I will go into detail because I'm tired of this trash, as several of my friends have lost their a$$es to this scam. This is about as far away from legitimate as anything can get, whether it be a contest, promotion, or whatever.
There exists a certain form of immoral degenerate that trolls the internet searching for suckers who believe that they have gotten very lucky and won a lottery which they have never entered. They will probably entice you to send an advance fee to claim your non-existant winnings and if you do send this money, you can kiss it goodbye. The money will likely be en-route to Nigeria, a cesspool of fraud that has been the center of these types of fraud over the last few decades.
The best thing to do is to delete such emails immediately and to never reply to them. If you even reply, you risk having your email inbox flooded. If you call these people, expect to be harrassed over the phone at all hours of the night! In some cases, people who travel to claim their winnings in Nigeria are taken hostage, and in worse-case scenarios are killed when whoever is paying ransom payments exhausts their money supply. If anything online sounds to good to be true it always is buddy.
By the way, I have kind of become an anti-scam activists due to the fact that I have many friends who have had their identities and life savings stolen from them via these methods.
This is simply advance fee fraud (a prevalent type of fraud which continously asks for money to cover unforseen expenses) and is intended to drain your bank account, promising money that simply does not exist. Hopefully, this answers your question.
If you have any more questions, do a yahoo search on lottery scams, nigeria 419 scams, internet fraud, or advance fee fraud. You can also read more about this at www.secretservice.gov and www.419eater.com!
If you have lost money you should report it to the U.S. Secret Service at www.secretservice.gov

There is no Overseas Lottery International, YAHOO %26amp; MSN Lotteries, Yahoo online dept., UK (United Kingdom) Lottery, Netherlands Lottery, British Lottery, Thunderball Online Lottery in the UK, Australian Lottery, Spanish Lottery, Yahoo Lottery Microsoft Lottery (emmulating from the UK or anywhere else) or any other form of lottery you can win without buying a ticket. While some people might only copy and paste such email to their answer with a brief take on it, I will go into detail because I'm tired of this trash, as several of my friends have lost their a$$es to this scam. This is about as far away from legitimate as anything can get, whether it be a contest, promotion, or whatever.
There exists a certain form of immoral degenerate that trolls the internet searching for suckers who believe that they have gotten very lucky and won a lottery which they have never entered. They will probably entice you to send an advance fee to claim your non-existant winnings and if you do send this money, you can kiss it goodbye. The money will likely be en-route to Nigeria, a cesspool of fraud that has been the center of these types of fraud over the last few decades.
The best thing to do is to delete such emails immediately and to never reply to them. If you even reply, you risk having your email inbox flooded. If you call these people, expect to be harrassed over the phone at all hours of the night! In some cases, people who travel to claim their winnings in Nigeria are taken hostage, and in worse-case scenarios are killed when whoever is paying ransom payments exhausts their money supply. If anything online sounds to good to be true it always is buddy.
By the way, I have kind of become an anti-scam activists due to the fact that I have many friends who have had their identities and life savings stolen from them via these methods.
This is simply advance fee fraud (a prevalent type of fraud which continously asks for money to cover unforseen expenses) and is intended to drain your bank account, promising money that simply does not exist. Hopefully, this answers your question.
If you have any more questions, do a yahoo search on lottery scams, nigeria 419 scams, internet fraud, or advance fee fraud. You can also read more about this at www.secretservice.gov and www.419eater.com!

Escort Card, Candle Votive - Wedding Favor?
I saw an idea for an escort card where the there was a votice candle holder for each person, and which table they were at.
My question is, is there some sort of "at home" method to print the guests names and apply it to glass with it looking professional? Because the set up costs for every person can get expensive. But if there's a printable material that you can use as a tranfer on glass, I would like to go that route.

I've heard of this, but don't know much about it. You may want to check into that option. Phone your local copy shop when they open tomorrow, and ask if they do this.

From the specs you provided a PCI-E video card wouldn't be usable on the system, it only has PCI slots. You should be OK with a PCI video card or an AGP 4x video card which you don't mention but the specs say it has an AGP 4x slot.
Though the power supply is small, 200 Watts, it shouldn't need to be upgraged for a PCI or AGP 4x card, though I'd reccomend looking for one that doesn't need active cooling (a fan) to minimize power consumption. Should you decide to upgrade the power suppy anyway a 300-350 Watt unit should be more then sufficient.

It's gonna take you forever to enter in all that stuff. I tried and I quit because when your looking at the rosters on line you can't just enter in the name by the number because normaly it will be wrong.you have to match the numbers up then make sure its the right person by matching the stats and information. Just go buy you anonther memor card to send off, thats way easier than trying to enter them yourself.

I am going to be taking a Spanish test this monday and I need to study. It is my placement test for next year. Are there any sites that have printable flash cards or anything that would help me. you can select the language and download a trail version software from the net and start practicing the spanish language, they will send you updates of wordlist to your mail id from that you can down load extra words from the net for free.

There's another site called Quia we used this in my spanish 2001 class but you need the book and a (purchased) passcode for the excercises.
One thing I recomend is trying to translate things for yourself also-to practice. Get a movie you watch a lot and get the subtitles in spanish, to help you learn and get used to hearing it.
Try reading children's books in spanish where the vocab's not too hard, but you can pick up on what's going on based on context.

A good way to tell my man Thank You for putting up with my lazy b*tchy pregnant self?
I'm only 8 weeks pregnant. I'm so tired and sick a lot. The house is messier than usual. I'm not working at the moment. I spend most of my time on here when BF isn't not home because it doesn't require any energy.
My boyfriend is so supportive of my new-found unproductivity (he's has a 6 y/o son so he's been through it before). I felt like crap this morning, and layed in bed for 3 hours after I woke up. He told me to take it easy today, "if you do too much it'll only make it worse." He'll do laundry and dishes behind my back. It makes me feel so guilty, but I so much appreciate it.
I don't believe any of my ex's would have treated me this good. I want to show him how much I appreciate him for his support.
We're kind of poor right now, so I can't go out and buy him anything. He'd appreciate something more creative much more anyways. I've tried to find some online printable greeting cards that I can personalize, but no luck.
Any suggestions?

Reply:how about you get your friends or family round to give you a hand in cooking him a nice meal. he sounds like a star! its completely normal to feel wiped out in the early months of pregnancy and it will return in the later months, enjoy him doting on you. my man didnt and i worked full time as well and he used to moan that i went to bed early so i stayed up on occasion, but then he'd moan cos i fell asleep on the sofa! lol COS I'M TIRED! lol your man sounds wonderful and i wish you all the best.

With my daughter I raged at the world to the point that I made a cashier in a grocery store cry and I thought that I was justified in doing so. With my son I cried until he was 4 months old. It all goes back to normal once your baby is born and your hormones settle down and you get some sleep. Good luck, a lot of us have felt the same way and don't diminish what your mind and body are being put through right now and if it means complaining and or crying go ahead, you can't control it any way. Good luck with your new family addition. The key is that he has been there before and understands what can happen. The best gift I ever received in my life was a letter telling me how much I was appreciated and wanted in someone elses life.

Congrats on the baby. With my first baby I was sick until I was 8 months pregnant, had carpal tunnel up to both elbows, and got horrible ingrown toenails (they had to cut half my toe nail off!). Needless to say....I had crabby moments.

When you make his lunch put a sweet note on a napkin thanking him. Make sure you take care of him too....

Business Card Paper Type?
ok so i purchased Avery White Two-sided printable Business cards to be able to print on. I have a hp c5280 inkjet printer, i have just recently noticed that the business card paper says laser on it, will this matter if im using an ink jet printer, i looked where i bought them from and didnt see any paper of the same exact kind that said inkjet, unfortunately they will not return it because it is opened but i am curious if it will still be ok to print on them with?? thanks

Is there a way to recieve those $100 or more free gift cards without going through all of those yes and no questionaires and giving up your information to get it. I did one and made it to the end and it took me about 2hrs to do it. At the end they give you a printable gift card to redeem at the store that it is for. So they are real, I just wanted to know a faster way of getting them.

And 100 volunteers from New York – 9/11 firefighters and family members among them – are going to Groesbeck, Texas, to rebuild a house destroyed by a tornado last December.

This is a minute sampling of the hundreds of thousands of people who have pledged to memorialize those killed on 9/11 by doing something good for others.
The heroic acts of all those killed trying to save others that September morning has spawned a growing grass-roots movement. The goal is to ensure that future generations remember not just the horror of the attacks, but also the extraordinary outpouring of humanity during the days, weeks, and months that followed.
"It was the worst possible day imaginable, and in some ways, a remarkable day, too, in the way in which people responded," says David Paine, cofounder of myGoodDeed.org. "We need to rekindle the way we came together in the spirit of 9/11: It would be almost as much a tragedy to lose that lesson."
Sept. 11 has inspired dozens of philanthropic efforts – from groups dedicated to building memorials to foundations designed to improve education in the Middle East. But myGoodDeed has a more universal goal: to turn 9/11 into a day dedicated to doing good – from small, simple things like Lisa Scheive's pledge to help stranded turtles cross the road in Pompano Beach, Fla., to lifesaving efforts, such as John Feal's decision in New York to donate one of his kidneys to help a seriously ill 9/11 worker.
The idea has been endorsed by members of Congress, and at myGoodDeed's urging, President Bush for the first time this year included a call for volunteering in his annual 9/11 proclamation.
After major disasters, Americans have historically tapped a deep reserve of compassion and reached out to others. But in the months and years that follow, those compassionate and civic urges tend to recede. Studies at Harvard's Saguaro Seminar on Civic Engagement in America found that in as few as five months after 9/11, most Americans had gone back to their daily lives and were not more engaged as they said they'd hoped to be. Part of the goal of turning 9/11 into a national day of service is to remind Americans of the inherent joy of giving and to hopefully spur volunteering and charitable acts throughout the year.
"I don't know of any research that's been done on one day of service, but studies have shown that people who do volunteering in high school are more likely to volunteer throughout their lives," says Thomas Sander, executive director of the Saguaro Seminar.
The idea of turning 9/11 into a day of service, charity, and good deeds came from the family and friends of one man: Glenn Winuk, a volunteer fireman and lawyer who worked a block and a half from the World Trade Center. After he helped evacuate his Broadway law offices, he grabbed a medic's bag and ran toward the smoke pouring from the South Tower. That's where his remains were found after the towers fell. Mr. Paine and Glenn's brother Jay had been friends for years. They decided that turning 9/11 into a day of service was best way to memorialize Glenn.
"It completely reflects the way my brother lived his life, and it also specifically reflects how he died," says Mr. Winuk, myGoodDeed.org cofounder. "He laid his life on the line for other people that day."
In 2002, Paine and Winuk sent e-mails to friends and family and suggested they do a good deed, such as donate a day's pay on 9/11. Then the idea evolved, and they founded myGoodDeed.org. In 2004, 100,000 visited their website and pledged to do a good deed on 9/11. This year, those pledging number more than 250,000.
"A lot of people don't know what to do on 9/11," says Paine. "This hits people in their heart and their soul. It connects with something that's fundamental."

I have bought international tickets through the airlines before and have always gotten a printable itinerary. It basically has all the flight information, which includes the type of plane, what time it lands, length of flight, when the next one takes off and sometimes even the seat number. If it doesn't have the seat number, don't worry, you will get one assigned to you when you check in.
You may have to check in again along the way if you change airlines along your travel. Ask if you need to pick up your luggage and recheck them with the other carrier or if the airlines will handle that.
Call the airlines about 72 hours in advance of your trip to reconfirm your tickets.

Ok, so I am planning a sweet 16 for my brother, and we are going to be camping the time I do it. What do you think about this?? 18 people are going to be there. (yes, they are all close family). For A present, i found an awesome site where there are free printable cards, and i am going to print 40 of them, and put a dollar in each one. anyways, the theme is carnival, and i need ideas for that. remember, we are going to be camping, and he noooo idea this is happening. food, toys, games, presents, activities, i just want this to be over the top. if you give me a long list, i will give you 10pts. even if i dont like them. mmk im 12 but really mature, and im getting help from my 15 year old cousin, and we have a pretty tight budget, and we are going camping so remember that! its not like i cant rent a snowcone machine or anythng because i dont have room for that.
